Oxygen Therapy, Part of a Healthy Lifestyle

By: Christopher Hall CWK

Why should Oxygen/Ozone therapy be used?  Well, to answer this question I would like for you to take a deep breath and hold it………. What happened?  After a minute or so you gasp for a breath of fresh air.  We can live without food for weeks, without water for 2-3 days, without oxygen our brain dies in minutes.  Try this – breathe in and out only half the air you would normally for about 2 minutes………Again, what happened?  After just a few minutes, again you’re gasping for air, your heart rate may have increased, you may have felt faint or dizzy.  This is because you’re getting less oxygen to your heart and brain.  The answer to the main question of why to use oxygen therapy – if you’re alive, you need oxygen to stay alive!  Whether you’re sick or healthy, now is a good time to add this to your routine.

I’m sure you have heard of the old saying “you can’t put a frog into boiling water because he’ll jump out, however if you slowly turn up the temperature the frog will not be alarmed” by then it’s too late, he’s cooked!  So if we take that example and apply it to our own intake of oxygen, gradually reducing our oxygen intake will not kill us, however mild oxygen deprivation can have serious effects on our body.  So far we have discussed the extreme examples of oxygen deprivation (death), let’s get to the subtle signs that can help us to see when we need to be alarmed.  Fatigue, depression, headaches, muscle aches, joint pains, colds, flu’s, all are signs of low oxygen levels in the body (granted there are many other causes for these symptoms, however we’re talking about the core underlying issue).

What’s the difference, bottled (inhaled) oxygen vs. ozone?  They’re both oxygen, except ozone (not to be inhaled) is electrically charged and has three oxygen atoms instead of two.  With this extra atom, the gas becomes very reactive, highly unstable.  It immediately wants to “give away” this extra atom.  Which is great, because once ozone goes into the body, it immediately dissolves into the plasmatic water in the blood, releasing the extra atom to clean waste or to feed the healthy cells.  Ozone turns into hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) in the blood, which the white blood cells in our body normally produce as a first line of defense against infection.  Much more than that, H2O2 is used by the body to metabolize proteins, fats, carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals.  Without H2O2 we would die!  So if you’re taking tons of good supplements, vitamins, herbs and your just not feeling as good as you think you should it may be because you don’t have enough H2O2 to metabolize the great nutrients your swallowing by the hand full!

Some of my clients come in for their oxygen sessions and leave not noticing the incredible benefits of what they have just received.  Some don’t feel any different, even though their body is changing in every way!  Others can’t imagine their life without this incredible tool, they are aware enough of their own body to immediately notice a shift.  They came in feeling down or depressed emotionally, they leave with a big smile.  They come in feeling tired and leave relaxed, refreshed, and energized.   Some of my clients have said that without their oxygen sessions they would have already passed away, however they are living more comfortably with less hospital visits, sometimes well outliving their own expectations.

    Hi Chris,
I took the blood class with you.
If we don’t have access to this Oxygen Therapy can we drink 3%Hydrogen Perioxide and get similiar results. If the H2O2 is needed for aiding digestion, will drinking this type of Hydrogen Perioxide help?

Also, is drinking the Ozone water safe if you are pregnant?

    Hope all is well. Thanks,
    Marquelle

    Hello Marquelle,

There are a ton of Doctors/Scientists who actually promote the oral administration of H2O2 (Hydrogen Peroxide). They feel it is safe for patients to dillute 35% Reagent Grade H2O2 down to a 3% solution. Dr. Charles Farr has done over 20 years of research on H2O2, he has found that even very small amounts of H2O2 taken orally will mix with Ascorbate, Iron & fats in the stomach lining and create superoxide/hydroxyl free radicals. This will cause damage to the stomach lining, let alone the risk of causing free radical damage to the rest of the cells in the body, increasing the risk of cancer cell production. The best way to use H2O2 is intravenous or in a bath to be absorbed thru the skin.

The 3% USP H2O2 in the brown bottle at the drug store is full of Heavy Metals especially lead. Very bad news! Using food grade 35% is the only option, it must be handled very carefully, it will cause chemical burns to tissue (turning the skin white, some pain may be involved).

On the use of Ozone water during pregnancy – it is safe in small amounts (3-4oz) frequently through the day. The water must be purified, and kept in a glass container after ozonation.

Very good questions!!! I will write articles on this subject and post them here, keep up with our blog!!
